Inoue was given a count in Round 10 after he was caught by a left that sent him staggering into the ropes. In the 12th, both fighters went toe-to-toe until the final bell. IBF bantamweight champion Ryosuke Nishida kept his belt by scoring a knockout over Thai challenger Anuchai Donsua at 1:37 of the 7th round. It was Nishida's first defense of the title he won in May. Nishida controlled the contest and floored Donsua with a right hook midway round five. The seventh saw Nishida land a vicious left uppercut to the midsection to deck Donsua once again this time for the count.
