Ayala wins vacant IBF Title by Knock-Out

The tall Angel Ayala claimed the vacant IBF title with a sixth-round knockout of Dave Apolinario. Ayala twice floored the Filipino fighter in the sixth round. The second knockdown produced the full ten count at 2:06 of round six.

 Accidental clash of heads in the 1st ends fight; Olascuaga keeps title

Anthony Olascuaga retained his title after a clash of heads in the first round of the fight. Challenger and ex-world champion Jonathan Gonzalez suffered a cut above his left eyebrow as both boxers lunged in.  The ringside doctor examined the cut and allowed him to continue. Not long after the action resumed, referee Robert Hoyle asked Gonzalez if he could see, and said no. The fight was stopped and ruled a no-contest.

Tejari wins vacant WBC Flyweight title after doctor's intervention

Former Light Flyweight world champion Kenshiro Teraji stopped Cristofer Rosales in Round 11 for the vacant WBC world flyweight title to become a two-weight world champion. From early in the fight, Rosales's nose was bleeding. In round 11, the referee stopped the fight after advice from the ringside doctor.
